113th Annual Thanksgiving Offering
113th Annual Thanksgiving Offering
In 1909, churches throughout Western North Carolina began taking up a Thanksgiving Offering to support Mountain Orphanage, where the orphaned children of Western North Carolina could find security, love, and hope for a brighter future. Today, that orphanage is Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families and the original ministry—providing for children in need in a loving, Christian environment—is still going strong.
Each fall, we supply materials to churches and other organizations that would like to help meet the needs of the children entrusted to us. To learn more about the offering, please contact Sheryl Eller at 828-686-3451 or [email protected].
More information and materials for the offering can also be found at https://www.blackmountainhome.org/how-to-help/liaison/
