Development Officer – Donor Ministry
Director of Residential Life
Provide leadership, supervision, and spiritual nurture for Black Mountain Home’s residential care programs, ensuring safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environments for youth. You will oversee residential staff, promote excellence in caregiving practices, support youth placement stability, and ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and ministry standards. Serve as a member of the organization’s leadership team, partner with program leaders to strengthen residential services, and cultivate the spiritual growth and professional development of staff while advancing the mission of Black Mountain Home.
Education Coordinator
The Education Coordinator provides leadership and coordination for Black Mountain Home’s learning center and educational support services. This role works closely with youth, House Parents, Residential Services, school personnel, volunteers, and interns to support academic progress, school readiness, and educational advocacy for the children and youth in care.
Foster Care Worker – Burke County
This role is centered on supporting Burke County foster families and helping ensure children are able to remain in the county —maintaining vital connections to their schools, communities, and natural support systems. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about improving outcomes for children and families through community-based care.
House Parent Couple (Full-time/Designated Cottage & Floating)
We need married Christian who want to work in ministry as House Parents in the cottages on our campus. Join us in ministry and help children in need know that they matter. Enjoy a 8-days-on/6-off schedule and tons of support from our administrative staff, education director, recreation staff, volunteers, and more.

Life Coach – Independent Living Program – walk alongside older youth as they prepare for adulthood.
This role is a beautiful mix of mentoring, coaching, case management, encouragement, and everyday life support. Our Independent Living Village helps young people grow in confidence, faith, responsibility, healthy relationships, and practical life skills as they take their next steps toward education, work, and independence. If you:
- Love working with older teens and young adults
- Have a heart for ministry, and a steady, compassionate heart
- Enjoy helping young people learn real-life skills and can guide youth through everyday decisions and hard moments
- Have a bachelor’s degree and experience with older adolescents or young adults
