President's Report

A word from President Tom Campbell

I continue to be amazed at how God uses individuals, churches, businesses, and schools to provide exactly what this ministry needs exactly when it's needed. Our youth and staff are blessed and encouraged as they see others step in to help provide for our needs.

Recently I talked with one of our teenagers who arrived several weeks before Christmas. He shared that this was his best Christmas ever. He couldn't believe that the items he wrote down on his wish list were waiting under the tree for him on Christmas morning. He was surprised that individuals he had never met would buy Christmas presents for him and put in the extra time and effort to make sure they got precisely what he wanted.

The most exciting part is that he was able to share some of this generosity with his mother. After receiving some money, gift cards, and small gifts at different Christmas parties, he assembled a Christmas package to send to his mother. He was so excited to share some of the joy he was experiencing with his mom

And that's what makes this ministry so special. As our youth watch you care, pray, and give, they want to share with others what you've so generously given to them. I look forward to continuing to partner with you in 2011 as we seek to glorify God by caring for children and families.

The service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.

-2 Corinthians 9:12-13
