Meeting Space / Speaker

Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families occaisonally hosts group meetings and special events when they do not conflict with Home activities. Currently, there is no charge for meeting space, but donations are appreciated.

The 90-acre campus is surrounded by mountain streams, wildflowers, ridges, valleys and spectacular views. The Home is located near Black Mountain, and is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Asheville.

The campus features:

Community Room - 250-person indoor meeting/dining space, 150 padded chairs, 200 metal chairs, 6 ft. tables for 100-150, full kitchen, podium and sound system, and a spectacular view.

Picnic Pavilion - The Pavilion seats up to 250, has bathrooms, a large cooker and running water. It is located near outdoor playing fields on campus.

Gymnasium - full court sized indoor play space.

Tours - tours of the campus and the children's residences are available during business hours, and at other times by reservation.

Speaker for your meeting - we ask that if you hold an event at the Home, you allow a staff person to speak to your group about our ministry.
